Pediatric Care-A-Van News

Abigail Sofian, the NAH Care-A-Van’s pediatric nurse practitioner, received the 2018 Illinois Nurses Foundation 40 under 40 Emerging Nurse Leader Award on September 13.

Since joining the NAH Pediatric Care-A-Van team more than two years ago, Abigail has  played a pivotal role in the expansion of the mobile services program, bringing her own energy, skills and ‘special touch’ to everything she does.

Both NAH and the Foundation are incredibly proud of Abigail’s achievement in winning this award. Congratulations!

As the NAH Pediatric Care-A-Van enters its 10th year of service, we extend our thanks and appreciation to the Children’s Care Foundation (CCF) for renewing a generous three-year grant to the Foundation.  CCF’s partnership enables the award-winning Care-A-Van program to provide no-cost preventive healthcare to disadvantaged children and young people in Humboldt Park, Austin, Garfield Park and the surrounding Chicago communities.
