Help send crucial medical assistance to Puerto Rico
Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico on September 20 and pushed the island’s 3.4 million residents into a desperate humanitarian crisis — food, water, medicine, and electricity remain scarce throughout the island. This will be a long-term recovery effort and the impact on local health will likely have far-reaching consequences.
YOU can help make a difference by donating to the NAH Puerto Rican Hurricane Relief Fund.
One hundred percent of your tax-deductible gift will go to purchasing medication and medical supplies and funding the cost of sending a medical team to Puerto Rico.
Norwegian American Hospital has been designated by community leaders to head a medical mission to deliver medical supplies and begin to asses, treat and meet critical healthcare needs on the island. Along with the National Association of Hispanic Nurses-Illinois Chapter, we are coordinating a team of physicians, nurses and nurse practitioners to travel to Puerto Rico provide much needed medical assistance.
